The Role
This studio is looking for an Assistant Accountant to partner with several teams across the business and oversee all the financial operations of their design projects. They are seeking a detail oriented team-player with a passion for design and the creative space.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing resources, budgets, financial reconciliation, raising client invoices, and reporting on month-end accounts. You will also work closely with senior leadership and act as a finance business partner for the team.
Responsibilities
- Raise monthly invoices and issue statements
- Reconciliation of projects of current and past projects
- Work with external finance team to prepare monthly cash flow and income forecast
- Set up company bank payments
- Assist with formulation of new contracts
- Build relationships with clients and vendors
- Manage budgets for FF&E aiming to maximise margins
- Ad hoc financial duties
What we need to see
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communicator
What we'd like to see
- Experience in an interior design or architecture business
- Experience in a small business
- Passion for the creative space
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 + benefits
Start Date: ASAP
Location: London
Hybrid/Remote: 3 days per week in-office
