Working as a Summer SchoolAssistant Activities Manager is a great way to gain your first step into leadership.
Working as our Assistant Activities Manager, you'll be based in central London, just a 2-minute walk from Holborn station providing you with an easy commute. Alternatively we are able to provide full-board accommodation, if you prefer.
Who are we? Here at Stafford House Study Holidays, we welcome over 6000 young students (aged 8-17) from all over the world, during the summer holidays. We to help them improve their English in the classroom but also provide a vibrant activities and excursion programme. We employee a team of Activity Leaders, lead by the Activities Manager. Your role is to provide the support to the Manager, in supporting the activity summer operation.
A little of what it involves: We’re looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Assistant Manager to support and help manage the delivery of our fun activities, events, and excursions programme over summer 2024. Activities range from sporting, drama, arts to quizzes, discos, fashion shows; the list goes on. Excursions involve leading groups to theme parks, city tours, historical sites etc and you are supported with the materials you need to make these activities/excursions exciting.
Contracts: You must be available from 7th July - 25th August
Is it for you?
- As the focus here is life in London, you'll need to be familiar with London and be comfortable supporting and leading activities and excursions in central London, in particular
- You will have some previous experience of running or supporting activity/leisure programmes or events. Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in a summer camp or school.
- You’ll be a great communicator and be ready for the next step into leadership
- You’ll be able to effectively support the Activities Manager your team of Activity Leaders, and students alike.
- We provide a full management training weekend and ongoing support throughout your contract
- Full-board + accommodation provided
- £629.20 per week plus holiday entitlement
- Working 55 hours over 6 days per week – as part of the management team, this is a fully immersive position
*You must already have the right to work in the UK. You must be available to attend our training weekend on 14th June and be available for the duration of the contract.
