Contract: Full time (up to 46 hours a week / set days & hours)
Days & Hours: Wed-Sun / shifts vary between 12-10pm
Salary: From £25,000 (subject to experience)
We're looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to join a busy team within a lovely Hotel in Cowbridge. An ideal candidate will be someone with previous supervisor/managerial hospitality experience, used to working in high end and fast paced establishments, but equally quieter settings that pride themselves on 5* customer service.
With set days and hours each week, our client is paying an attractive salary starting from £25,000 per year for the right candidate, with genuine managerial progression in place for the future, this is an opportunity not to be missed for those with experience looking for a new role in the area!
Main responsibilities will include
- Maintain 5* standards at all times
- Supervising team members / motivating / training and supporting them on shift
- Taking full ownership of the FOH setting (MINIMUM ADMIN as BOH is taken care of!)
- Greeting guests, making them feel welcome & taking orders
- Day to day maintenance and cleaning
- Dealing with customer phone enquires (bookings for restaurant & hotel)
- Serving drinks
- Money handling, taking payments, and cashing up tills and PDQ machines at the end of a day.
