• Monday – Friday

• 07.30am to 5.00pm + alternate Saturdays from 08.00am to 12.00pm.

An established Builders Merchant based in the North East is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join their team, on a full-time permanent basis.

Utilising your experience managing staff within a Merchant, Wholesalers or Distribution environment, your role will be to support the General Manager in monitoring the everyday operations of the branch, whilst overseeing the team members to maintain an efficient and productive work place.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Management experience within a Builders merchants, Wholesalers or Distribution environment

• An understanding of construction supplies and trade

• Proven background in customer service/sales

• Up to date with key H&S standards

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist the General Manager with the everyday running of the branch

• Support with stock control, warehouse operations, transport and H&S safety processes

• Build strong customer relations by delivering a high level of customer service

• Ensure team achieve their sales and performance targets
