About The Role
We are looking for an Assistant Branch Merchandiser to join our team for Nutmeg based at our head office in Coalville (Leicestershire). This position is an entry level to a career in branch merchandising! You'll ensure we have the right stock in the right place at the right time to maximise sales and margin for departments developing effective working relationships with both suppliers and internal colleagues. Ultimately this will lead you to taking responsibility of designated departments.
What will I do as an Assistant Branch Merchandiser at Nutmeg?
● Planning stock allocations for each store
● Liaising closely with warehouses, stores and other Head Office departments
● Accurately and comprehensively prepare any reports requested for weekly trading and any other meetings
● Achievement of all KPI targets for Clothing against a balanced scorecard of customers, sales and profit, colleagues and operations
● Deliver stock packages for graded stores through critical path management and ensure stock targets are worked within through use of prioritising stock intake
● Ensure maximum availability on Never out of stock lines
● Awareness of the departments weekly and seasonal sales figures, stock figures and targets
● Reviews weekly sales performance and stock volumes and identify any opportunities and highlight any issues
● Ensure new store stock build plans are achieved in agreed timeframes
