In our pursuit of enhancing Birmingham branch operations, a subsidiary of an esteemed overseas bank presents an immediate opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account opening and compliance with KYC guidelines, ensuring the maintenance of Account Opening Forms (AOFs).
- Opening and maintenance of company and individual accounts.
- Checking and verification of all individual AOFs and High-Risk accounts.
- Proficient handling of cash receipts, payments, and outward clearing.
- Daily checks and verification of cheques, with prompt confirmation to branches.
- Same-day return of physical cheques to customers.
- Regular monitoring and checking of long books.
- Customer interaction, phone handling, and prompt customer service provision.
- Conducting credit saf, CIFAS checks for all newly opened accounts, and meticulous filing of account-related documents.
- Assisting with any other tasks assigned by the Branch Head or Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience within Financial Services.
- Experience in quality assurance and control, including familiarity with workflow tools.
- Confidence in telephone communication and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong prioritization skills, a proactive approach, and a can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, well-suited for a small and friendly team environment.
