This is an exciting opportunity to join our Label Fashion team and broaden your knowledge! Our Label Fashion Assistant Technologists work hard to ensure the quality and performance of our online Brand products  are always second to none! Pushing the boundaries is what we do here at Next! Working alongside the teams to ensure every aspect of the product is performing to our customer needs.

Your role:

Legal and Safety Compliance: Conduct thorough evaluations of new online brand products to ensure compliance with all relevant legal and safety standards. Managing the onboarding process of new Brands to ensure that Next have carried out their due diligence. 

Performance Standards: Verify that online products meet all required legal criteria.

Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical assistance to the Product Team, ensuring all technical aspects are addressed.

Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships within the team to enhance productivity and innovation.

Review and Support: Regularly assess the ways of working to ensure new Brands are onboarded at speed. Keeping abreast of new legislation that may impact the products we sell.

Problem-Solving: Develop and implement solutions to address any challenges. 

About you:

Technical Expertise: Providing technical support and guidance to the wider team.

Market Awareness: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and consumer preferences.

Communication Skills: Clearly conveying information and requirements both within the team and to external partners.

Problem-Solving: Effectively identifying and addressing product issues as they arise.

Your team:

We are a small team consisting of one Technologist and two Assistant Technologists. We look after multi category products from clothing to footwear to suitcases to sports equipment!. Your team plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of a wide array of products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting new brands through the onboarding process. The collaborative and dynamic nature of your work, combined with a commitment to staying informed about industry changes, ensures that you provide exceptional service and maintain high standards for all products under your care.
