We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join a Dynamic Multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Glasgow focusing on Building surveying, Project management and cost consultancy.

Our client are seeking an individual who is motivated, ambitious and looking to kick start their career within a successful fast paced environment. You will have completed a degree in Building Surveying and looking to progress and complete your APC. Our client is looking for someone who has had a minimum of 1 year's practical experience within the industry.

Assistant Building Surveyor Position Overview

• Assistant Building Surveyor to join a consultancy in Glasgow with offices nationwide
• Assisting directors and chartered surveyors to fulfil the role of contract administrator/project manager/project monitor/employer's agent and overall lead client contact in connection with the procurement of new build, repair, alteration or refurbishment projects.
• To be fully aware of all services offered by the company and be able to describe these to existing and prospective clients.
• Managing client expectations at all times and ensuring that they are regularly and fully informed as to the status of their instructions.
• Assisting in developing new client contacts and generating leads into new business.
• To undertake any reasonable administrative or professional task required by the company
• Being aware of industry news, changes to legislation and standards and other developments.
• Managing job-specific files on our database.

Assistant Building Surveyor Position Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying
• Looking to complete the APC support
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Ambitious and motivated
• Happy to travel in and around Glasgow
• Minimum of 1 years' experience within the industry (can be placement year)

Assistant Building Surveyor Position Remuneration

• Highly competitive Salary £25,000 - £35,000 - (Guide - DOE)
