A rare and exciting opportunity an aspiring construction Buyer / Procurement Manager to receive hands on training and progression within thriving contractor where you will on high quality projects with full exposure to buying within the construction industry.
On offer is the chance is the chance to oversee the buying and procurement on a range of high quality student accommodation refurbishment projects where you will get hand on training, progression to senior levels within the business alongside an exceptional salary and benefits package.
This reputable design and build refurbishment Contractor specialise the refurbishment of prominently student accommodation projects across the UK working on projects up to 15M . Having thrived since being established this company have a clear 5 year growth plan increase turnover to 100M, in order to achieve this they have also started working on more diverse and technically challenging projects. To facilitate their growth they're looking for an Assistant Buyer to join the business and progress through the ranks.
In this role you will work on a range of refurbishment projects across the UK. You work alongside Commercial experts within the business and assist with liaising with suppliers, material scheduling and procurement as well as liaising with site teams to ensure the smooth delivery of material to sites. You will also oversee purchase orders and invoice queries.
You will receive extensive training, full exposure to refurbishment projects and a clear path for progression in a dynamic contractor who value their staff and believe in internal progression and promotion within the business.
The ideal candidate will have a construction, procurement or commercial related degree who is an excellent communicator, passionate about career progression and looking for a unique opportunity within a growing construction company.

• Some construction knowledge
