SF Recruitment are supporting a leading Manufacturing business in recruiting for an Assistant Buyer to join the team on a permanent basis.
Working hours - Monday - Friday, 08:30-4:30 Monday to Thursday with a 4pm finish on Fridays! Hybrid working twice per week.
Salary - £27,000 p.a. with training towards CIPS qualification.
The Role:
-As the Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for the day to day management of supplier account, price negation and standardised reporting mechanism and procedures.
-Operate an efficient process for the administration and sourcing of customer requirements and terms.
-Introduce cost saving or process improvement solutions.
-Processing Purchase Orders and general administrative tasks.
The Candidate:
As the successful candidate for the Assistant Buyer, you will have the following:
-Minimum of 12 months experience within Procurement - e.g., Junior Buyer, Assistant Buyer, Procurement Administration, Purchasing Assistant etc.
-Desire to develop a career within Procurement and work towards CIPS qualification.
