Assistant Buyer

£35k - £45k DOE

Mid Kent

Hybrid- 2 days in the office and other locations as required.

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Buyer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, leading company as a part of their team. The purpose of this role is to support on new product development. We can only consider drivers with their own transport for this role due to location.

Duties include:

• Maintaining excellent relationships with relevant reams and suppliers
• Observing new trends and completing regular market/competitor analysis
• Working closely withstakeholders to ensure the product meets customer expectations
• Working with internal teams to ensure product specifications are completed and accurate
• Regularly attending meetings, taking minutes, and contributing to new ideas
• Any other ad hoc admin duties

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience working as an Assistant Buyer
• Ideally experienced within the Product industry but not essential
• Knowledge of NAV is desirable however, not essential
• Flexible, reliable and ambitious
• Strong Excel and presentation skills
• Able to read reports/data
• An excellent communicator with first rate interpersonal skills
