Assistant Catering ManagerFull time / 12 Month Fixed Term Contract €37,000 per annum / €19 per hour 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday with evening and weekend work required once a month.Location: Grange Castle, Clondalkin, D22 V8F8 As an Assistant Catering Manager at Sodexo you will work closely with the Catering Manager and onsite team to ensure a high quality food service operation.  Working in the large and modern restaurant for our prestigious pharmaceutical client you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the established high standards that Sodexo provide.  You will require excellent communication and organisational skills as well as strong attention to detail. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way. What you’ll do: Maximise profitable sales by the introduction and maintenance of food offers across the site.  Actively seek and identify opportunities for business growth within the contract and external market.To develop and grow strong relationships with individuals at all levels within the company and client organisation.Actively seek and identify opportunities for business growth within the contract and surrounding markets.  Control costs such as labour, expenses, food in line with budget. Review rota’s regularly to ensure efficiency is in place across the catering operation. Deliver  budgeted profit and turnover for account/s as agreed with line managerConduct regular reviews of current operating costs, (margins and labour) to ensure that Sodexo is achieving optimum profit.Comply with all company health and safety procedures, site rules and statutory regulations including Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Safe working Practices, COSHH, Fire..To report and take positive action regarding customer comments or complaints, to establish and maintain the standards and integrity of the service always offer and contracted SLA’s/KPI’s., thus ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Manage the entire catering team, performing regular performance reviews with direct reports and taking positive action where needed with training and development.Ensure the effective delivery of all hospitality requirements, evaluate the offering on a continuous basis and introduce new offers and products in line with market trends.   What you bring: Track record of success in a similar senior rolePassionate about fresh quality foodProven experience of developing positive client relationships and excellent client relationship managementBroad commercial experience and business acumen and knowledge of external industry developmentsExperienced in leading company initiatives and change management processExperience in identifying and implementing new business initiativesExperience in leading and managing a high performing teamStrong communication and negotiation skillsExperience working in a standards/compliance environmentSelf-motivated with the proven ability to work well under pressure What we offer:   Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
