The contract is for full time hours (average hours 9am - 6pm - seasonal variations apply, will include weekends and bank holidays)
Staff accommodation is for single person in own room, shared kitchen facilities, in a licensed shared house, 2 min walk from workplace with free on street parking. Company uniform and staff discounts are provided.

About the Role:
Working in one of our catering outlets or kitchens you will be responsible for the day to day running of the specific area, reporting to the Catering Manager. You will be required to help cover the manager of the careering department on days off or leave periods.
You’ll also:
- Have the highest levels of integrity, flexibility, reliability, and punctuality.
- Command good level of spoken English and understanding of English.
- Be able to generate, adapt, and communicate staff rotas. Experience in recruitment, training, or independently leading a team will be advantageous.
- You will be required to enforce and adhere to food hygiene regulations when preparing and cooking food and provide customer assistance.
- Operation of cooking equipment and the cleaning of equipment is required to maintain a safe work environment.
- Some manual handling of stock deliveries will be required.
- Communicate effectively with relevant colleagues such as front of house staff, cooks, and your line manager.
- Deal with minor customer concerns – follow and communicate policies and their reasoning to customers and employees alike.
- Be very hands-on, your excellent attention to detail will enable you to enhance our delivery of quality food in a timely manner.
- To promote the correct Company image by ensuring that you and your colleagues, together with the venue, are always presented to the highest possible standard. This will involve both front of house and kitchen cleaning, including, and ensuring daily and weekly cleaning schedules as well as mandatory recoding requirements are completed.
- Cover any duties under your control in the event of staff absences or emergencies, such as operating tills yourself (training given). You will be trained in cash handling and till operation to allow flexibility and relief for break periods.
- Work must always be to high standards, and you will be required to maintain good personal hygiene and ensure others meet the same standards.
- To carry out duties at the request of the Directors, this may on occasion, entail working outside your area.
- Assist in completing regular stock checks of key items and till floats (cashing up).
Nice to haves:
- Qualifications in Food Hygiene or commercial cooking would be very advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
- Good organisational and time keeping skills will allow you to adapt well to the requirements of the role.
- Some experience in leading teams or supervising or training staff members will be advantageous, particularly experience in leading and developing ‘new to employment’ team members.
- Preferably experience in a fast paced, catering role, either front of house or kitchen.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
- Sociable with personality, enthusiastic with a hands-on approach.
- An understanding of a leisure or hospitality operation.
- Willing to work children’s school holidays & bank holidays, weekends.
