Assistant Community Manager – Leeds – £40,000pa DOE
One Property Recruitment have been instructed on the search for an Assistant Community Manager based in Leeds. I am working with an expanding high-end Build to Rent development in Leeds. You will be a vital member of the team and ensure that the building is always operating as smoothly as possible and that there is a strong sense of community. You will be responsible for managing a team as well as arranging community initiative events. This role will be perfect for someone who loves meeting new people and forging long-term working relationships. Your core duties will consist of:
• Leading your team, appointing them tasks, and ensuring that they are completing them to the best of their ability.
• Ensuring that you continue to build strong relationships with external partners.
• Handling property enquiries and complaints efficiently.
• Ensuring that resident satisfaction is strong from entry to exit and always ensuring you conduct regular property checks.
• Holding conferences within the building- such as event talks to all the residents.
• Ensuring that the maintenance team are trained regularly and ensuring that they are working extremely efficiently.
• Assisting the General Manager and covering for them when they are on leave.
• Keeping updated with any new health and safety regulations and keeping your team updated with these.
It is entirely essential that you have previous experience within the property sector and ideally Build to Rent so that you can enter this role and hit the ground running from your first day onwards. You will quickly be given infinite opportunities to develop and progress to other management positions within the development. You will be quickly embedding yourself within a supportive team, who will grow in the long term alongside you. I am looking for the following skillset/ attributes:
• At least 2 years’ experience within the property sector
• Ideally experience within Build to Rent but not essential.
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong leadership skillset
• Brilliant multi-tasking skills
• Genuine interest for further progression within this current role
• Strong people person
• A can-do attitude as you will be expected to try new things to aid your progression
