We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Company Secretary to join our client's team for a six-month contract. This role involves extensive co-sec administrative work, including meeting agendas, board packages, director filings, reports, and sign-offs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage meeting agendas.
- Compile and distribute board packages.
- Handle director filings and maintain accurate records.
- Draft and finalise reports and sign-offs.
- Support with various company secretarial administrative tasks as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in company secretarial administration.
- Familiarity with board packs and related documentation.
- Exposure to working at PLC level is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Work Arrangement:
- Full-time position.
- Work from their Reading office twice a week (most weeks, not every week).
- The rest of the week can be worked from home.
