Assistant Data Protection Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions are representing an international retail company who are looking to recruit in their Legal & Compliance function. As the Assistant Data Protection Manageryou will be responsible supporting the Data Protection Lead on ensuring compliance and data privacy across the EMEA region. It is a broad and varied role covering a wide range of Data Protection responsibilities including but not limited to;

• Carrying out privacy assessments
• Maintaining accountability trackers detailing requirements, actions, owner and status
• Completing data audits and update / maintain records of processing as required
• Managing Supplier Assessment programmes
• Supporting new colleague inductions and onboarding

The successful candidate will be an experienced Data Privacy/Protection professional with the below background

• Currently studying or has completed IAPP CIPP/E certification
• Audit / Compliance / Risk / Legal background desirable
• Experience of Microsoft tools and apps including email, word, excel and PowerPoint
