ISQ Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Engineering Manager for one of our Clients based in Norfolk. This role could be an ideal fit for a current Engineering Team Leader or Supervisor who is looking for a next step in their career and will offer an opportunity to progress into a managerial role within the company or, an experienced Engineering Manager who would is looking for a better work/life balance.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the engineering team, ensuring adherence to health & safety and food safety standards.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on various machinery to keep uptime high and production disruptions low.
- Undertake fault finding, proactive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Manage emergency maintenance to address equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and manage inventory, identifying any shortages.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer, especially in mechanical/electrical maintenance and fault finding.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with automated production lines and packaging machinery.
