SalaryMy Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for an Assistant Environmental Consultant to join a friendly and supportive team in Inverness.
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Oceanography or Coastal Engineering and have experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments or Peat Restoration or Hydrological Assessments or Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.
This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team in Inverness to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Environmental Projects for greenfield, industrial, commercial and renewable energy projects.
You will also be required to complete;
-Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.
-Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.
-Hydrological Assessments.
-Drainage Strategies.
-Water Quality Assessments.
-Peat Restoration.
-Coastal Modelling.
-River Restoration.
-GIS Mapping.
