£28,000 - £36,000 plus excellent benefits including study support for CIMA/ACCA, hybrid remote working and subsidised gym membership
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Bringing accounts to the trial balance stage, reconciling control accounts, and taking responsibility for the aspects of the general ledger which are under your control
- Assist with payments, indirect and direct taxation, and reporting
- Prepare data and narrative for various monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports concerning all aspects of the business
- Work together with finance colleagues, as well as colleagues from other departments to provide a flexible approach that increases their exposure to finance practices and maximises their learning experience
Person specification:
- Currently studying CIMA/ACCA
- Competent in month end procedures and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ability to use your initiative to resolve reconciliation issues and discrepancies
- Organised and quick to prioritise your work as needed
- You will enjoy working as part of a busy team and be keen to take on new tasks as team roles rotate
- Have good communication skills and be able to naturally build positive relationships
