As the Assistant Health andFitness Manager you will be responsible forassisting the Health and Fitness Manager to operatefitness operations. Places LeisureCamberley a flagship site, hasa club of 5,400 members andanother 1,300 junior fitness members and turnsover £6.2 Million. This iconiccentre has a gym with 170 stations with state-of-the-arttechnology. Facilities also include 4 studios, includinggroup cycling and hot yoga with over 120 instructorled classes held weekly; sports hall, a 25mpool and a 20m training pool; a Costa coffee store,clip n' climb area and soft play.
Highquality interactions with members are essential tomaintain excellent customer care and you will needto ensure you help lead the team to drive forward the servicerequired. Your flexibility will be essential to be successfulin this role. During the Fitness Manager's absence youwill be responsible for supervising the gym-basedteam and overseeing Personal Trainers, andsupport the Group Exercise Coordinator where needed. Youwill also be involved in outreach events to support thecompanies healthy community's delivery. A PersonalTraining rental agreement may also be available for the rightcandidate.
More aboutyou
You will have developeda career within the fitness sector (or furthereducation/military). Ideally you will bea Fitness Manager or Assistant at a small site,or already have experience of managing individuals or a teamwithin fitness and you can demonstrate youwill be a superstar who has consistently showna track record of achieving results and a desire to progress. AnNVQ level 3 in fitness (or equivalent) isessential.
