Assistant Food And Beverage Manager

Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village (Managed by Legacy Hotels and Resorts Limited) have a rare opportunity for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. This department have recently set up of a brand new F/B space where we created the menu and cocktail menu from scratch!

Casual all-day dining options include a mezzanine restaurant and bar and hotel rooms with panoramic views of the River Mersey as it stretches out to the Wirral Peninsula. Liverpool continues it growth as a vibrant city with an abundance of character, a fantastic UK location for business and leisure travelers, The £1bn Paddington Village development will sit at the Eastern gateway to the city centre.

Average hours - 40 per week

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Effectively manage the Food & Beverage Team in the absence on the F/B Manager
• Lead with recruitment process
• Menu (s) Development (with the Head Chef) in all areas allowing you to be creative
• Effectively manage the daily operations of the department in absence of Management
• Administer and plan rotas, timesheets, lieu time and holidays to meet business needs and wage control
• Assist with Food and Beverage orders and deliveries, ensuring liquor control and stock is strictly maintained at all times
• Display a pro-active and consistent approach to food costings
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Hygiene guidance
• Staff Training, Appraisals and Mentoring
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional plans
• Ensure that all standards relating to security are maintained with emphasis on the following: Liquor Stocks, Hotel Equipment, Bar Keys, Bar Floats, Bar Glasses
