Job Description


The Victoria casino, located on the Edgware Road, is our flagship casino within the Grosvenor estate. The casino spans two floors where gaming is prominent and coupled with a food and beverage offer. The venue also has an outdoor terrace The Loft, where entertainment is provided. As an assistant Food and Beverage Manager you will assist in the running of both the Front of House and Back of House F&B departments including our restaurant, licensed bar’s and gaming table service offerings. Additionally, you will also support with special events activities. Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and working closely with the Assistant General Manager, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills to their teams playing a crucial role in elevating the F&B offerings at The Victoria Casino. Supporting key stakeholders to grow the food and beverage offer, maximise on revenue and strive for the overall success of Food and Beverage within the Casino.


Qualifications


Essential

  • Minimum 2 years as Assistant Manager or Team Leader in a reputable branded or independent food and beverage organisation
  • Passion to deliver exceptional Customer Service.
  • Leisure/Food and Beverage industry knowledge including legislation, best practice, current trends, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of service standards relating to all aspects of the service of food, wines, alcohol and non-alcohol drinks and beverages.
  • Very comfortable when communicating with guests and fellow employees both verbally and in writing.
  • Organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to lead a large team.
  • A high level of personal integrity.
  • A strong work ethic with passion for exceeding expectations.
  • Encourage and contribute toward a culture that supports everyone to be the best they can be.

Preferred

  • Minimum level 2 food safety (either current or expired)
  • Proficient in the delivery of training to their team members.
  • Knowledge of Company training.
