Assistant General Manager

Following internal promotions, The Queens Hotel, Lytham is looking for a driven, enthusiastic & passionate Assistant General Manager to join our team! Rate of Pay

• £32,000+ 10% annual bonus – experience & role dependant.
• Based on 48 hour working week.
• Pay is processed on the last Friday of every month (salaried).

Rota Schedule

Ideal Candidate

Working directly under the General Manager, you will be supported in delivering great guest experiences whilst developing your own skills and career. This is the perfect role for someone looking to progress in their career and take on a successful, busy venue with the ability to bring in innovation and perspective.

Candidates applying for an Assistant General Manager role with us are encouraged to demonstrate the following criteria:

• Evidence of strong financial control – Margins, payroll, P&L analysis.
• A background or knowledge of a hotel operation is encouraged.
• Evidence of successful project work in previous roles.
• Understanding of coaching & training & the importance of people in hospitality - driving the whole team forward.
• Confidence with finding solutions and resilience to daily challenges.
• Passion for fresh food & working in a fast-paced team environment.
• Drive & passion - having a can do, will do & want to attitude is at the heart of our business. As our Head of Food says; “no passion, no point”
• Our managers are encouraged to challenge the norm & use their creativity & initiative to drive sales whilst building a venue that our team love to work in & our guests love to be in.
• Experience of working within a fast-paced food business.
• Capable of delivering 1500+ covers per week.
• Comfortable working within & managing a team of 60 Team Members.
• Achieving & maintaining a 5-star EHO rating.
• Confidence to let your personality shine & strength of conviction.
• Passion for working in a floor-focused environment. 80% of your time must be spent on guest engagement, shift-running & team coaching.
• Deputy Manager or higher in a food led pub or restaurant.
