Responsibilities in your new role
The primary responsibilities include orchestrating the core functions of the hotel, encompassing quality assurance, maintaining standards, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. Collaborating closely with department heads, the role ensures seamless daily operations. Monitoring business metrics and controlling departmental expenditures such as payroll, inventory, and sales costs are essential tasks. Supervising all departments to meet revenue and profit targets while fostering a positive workplace culture through clear communication and regular team gatherings is key. You will ensure compliance with all regulations, including health and safety, food safety, and employment laws, are met. Additionally, overseeing conference and event management, banquet services, dining facilities, front-of-house services, and bar operations fall under managerial purview.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of experience in a comparable position within a five-star luxury hotel, demonstrating exceptional managerial and leadership capabilities. They should exude charisma and exhibit strong interpersonal aptitude. A robust business acumen, coupled with profound expertise in hotel financial management, is crucial.
