This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Prep School as our Assistant Head Academic.

The Assistant Head Academic will work very closely with the Deputy Head on all matters relating to academic standards, curriculum planning, assessment and record keeping, for the school as a whole and for individuals.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the relevant curricula and the ability to inspire and support staff to consider new and more effective ways of helping the pupils to learn, to achieve the best possible outcome for each child.

The Assistant Head Academic will be a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), and will play an important role in the School’s strategic planning.

Moulsford Prep School is an independent preparatory school for 370 pupils, aged 3 to 13, situated on an idyllic 30-acre site on the banks of the River Thames, near Wallingford in South Oxfordshire. The School became co- educational from Pre-School to Year 2 in September 2023. We remain all- boys from Years 3 to 8.
