Due to a busy period our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Independent Living Scheme Manager to join the organisation immediately. As an Assistant Independent Living Scheme Manager, you will provide a specialist service for specific customers.
As an Assistant Independent Living Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting with ensuring that tenants are able to live as independently as possible.
- You will work closely with services in the community to ensure that customers with complex needs are given the correct support.
- Deal with out of hours responses.
- Complete risk assessments and health and safety checks.
- You will act as the deputy when the manager is off.
- Work closely with internal departments to help with the delivery of tenancy and income management, the lettings of properties and aids and adaptions.
- Look for ways to improve the customer experience.
- Complete support plans with residents to guarantee they can manage their tenancies and live independently.
The ideal Assistant Independent Living Scheme Manager will have/be:
- Excellent understanding of the needs of older and vulnerable people.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Relevant qualifications either NVQ or CIH (full or working towards).
- Must have driving licence.
- Demonstrates competence in the use of a wide range of I.T. based systems but particularly Microsoft suite of applications, including Word and Excel.
- Demonstrates high standards of customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills when liaising with internal/external departments, customers and third parties.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A team player that can prioritise workloads and adapt between tasks.
