Assistant Laboratory Technician

Role Title: Assistant Laboratory TechnicianDuration: 12 months (chance of extension)Location: StevenageRate: 15.96 per hour - PAYERole purpose / summary• Be trained and responsible to clean, calibrate and repair the same process engineering equipment in the laboratory• Order new parts or organise repair requests & deliver with external suppliers• Help to plan the CapEx and OpEx long term plan for the department based on the existing equipment capability• Set-up process engineering equipment (e.g. pumps, vessels, impeller) prior experiments, and help with cleaning of the equipment post experimental work• Fully embrace all aspects of safety when working in the laboratory• Comply with applicable Data Integrity, Quality, cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) and regulatory requirements in all aspects of workKey Skills/ requirements• Organised, self-starter• Experience of working in a GMP enironment• Seeking experience of cleaning within a laboratory environmentAll profiles will be reviewed against the required skills and experience.
