This hands-on, customer-facing role, Ollie's at the five-star Merchant Hotel is searching for a full time experienced hospitality professional to bring Ollie's and its team on the next stage of its journey. The ideal candidate will use their enthusiastic and proactive approach to deliver excellent service to our customers, whilst increasing business profitability.
The successful candidate will have a large responsibility for a team of approximately 20 people and work with the current General Manager as well as the larger Merchant Hotel team.
Essential criteria will include

• Proven track record of people management including training and rotas
• At least one years assistant Management experience
• Managing stock and spillage costs
• Managing labour budgets
• Excellent customer service skills
• A team player who will help staff with tasks rather than delegating when appropriate

Desirable Criteria

• To lead by example, approaching work professionally with a supportive and caring attitude to staff.
• Can implement good housekeeping procedures in order that the premises is always well presented and maintained to a high standard
• Comfortable and confident when dealing with customers
• Computer literate
• Management of functions and corporate bookings

Personal Specification

• Knowledge and experience of working with live music and DJs
• Passion for music
• Cocktail Knowledge
• Be able to think outside of the box
• The ability to organize and prioritize effectively
