We are recruiting for an Assistant Marina Manager to join our team at Upton Marina, and would love for you to join us!

There is hardly anywhere in the country that cannot be reached from Upton Marina by inland waterways. Upton Marina is the largest marina on the River Severn and offers secure pontoon moorings for all types of craft. Set within beautiful gardens and benefiting from modern facilities, at Upton our Customers can forget about the stresses and strains of daily life and just sit back and relax.

So, back to the job role… What will the role as Assistant Marina Manager involve?

- Supporting the Marina manager in ensuring the day to day running of our Marina runs smoothly and efficiently

- Ensuring site inspections are regularly completed to keep our Marina in tip-top condition

- Operating machinery such as our boat hoist and lifting equipment

- General estate maintenance

- Supporting in the Marina office where required

- Delivering exceptional levels of Customer service to both new and existing customers

- General onsite support where required

What experience do you need to be an Assistant Marina Manager?

As this role is so varied, we welcome applications from a range of backgrounds, however a short list of what you will need to be successful in this role are:

- Being computer literate

- Ability to “get stuck in” and work collectively as a team

- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service

- An interest in stepping into an assistant management position, and more importantly- Boats!

- A 35 hour working week. (As our Marina is open 24/7, this will include some weekend and Bank holiday working)
