My client is a UK contemporary women’s wear brand creating size inclusive, beautiful clothes so everybody can feel amazing. Founded nearly 15 years ago, the company has experienced high growth at home in the UK and globally.
Key Objective:
To support the Merchandising and Buying teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
Effective Management of Inventory, driving sales, minimising costs and maximising profits. Sourcing and Logistics being a key role for the growth of the business, in line with our clients 5-year plan. “To have the right product, at the right price, at the right time, in the right quantities”.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analysis of key products and forecasting sales potential
- Provide Historical Analysis to develop Range Planning / Phasing within Season with the Buying Team / Wholesale Team.
- Manage Production Intake into the Business to hit / exceed Monthly Sales Forecasts.
- Liaison with other Departments within the businesses Buying, Wholesale, E-comm, Logistics and Marketing
- Manage and oversee our New PLM system.
- With knowledge of the industry introducing new Manufacturers Essential Skills and Experience:
- Extremely Analytical
- Have a strong Customer awareness and understanding
- At least 4 years’ experience in Fashion Merchandising, preferably within Womenswear
- Good judgement and decision making skills
- Passionate about Product, strong market and brand awareness
- Exceptionally organised, methodical and efficient
- Time keeping and ability to meet deadlines
- Computer proficient
- Worked with PLM system.
- Experience with working with Factories and managing production plans
