KiddyKare are looking to recruit a room-based Assistant Manager for a small setting in Ottershaw.
As an Assistant Manager, you will be expected to step-up into the role of Nursery Manager during periods of absence.
The salary is up to £30,000 working 40 hours per week.

Duties include:
- Support in rooms as required to ensure compliance with the EYFS and meet the needs of the nursery.
- Take responsibility for quality and audits across the setting.
- Full involvement in the recruitment and retention of staff.
- Complete staff administration as required.
- Support the Nursery Manager with the management of the nursery’s budget and occupancy.
- Assist the Nursery Manager in developing and implementing a targeted marketing strategy, which also utilises social media effectively.
- Proactively engage with the children in the setting, taking an active role in their care, learning and development while at the nursery and supporting staff in all aspects of their role.
To qualify for this role you must have:
- A full and relevant Early Years qualification
- Full understanding and working knowledge of the Ofsted inspection framework
- Leadership experience and managing staff issues
- Paediatric first aid
- First Aid at Work
- Satisfactory DBS check
