Form of workGJL Talent Ltd are recruiting for an Assistant Operations Manager in Southampton, this role is on a long term contract, paid as a Day Rate ( Negotiable ).
This is a Highways contract so knowledge and experience in Highways/Civil Engineering is paramount.
You will ensure that the project follows full regulaory standards and you must have knowledge and experience of :-
QM - BIM field 360, Management of programme slippage using ASTA, NHSS 12d, 16 and 30, NRSWA, Street Manager, Considerate Constructors Scheme, Telematics - Plant and Vehicles and UKCS - Customer focus first strategy.
You will also be responsible for risk assessment and change controls to NEC 3 Standards.

- Full UK Driving Licence
- SMSTS
- NVQ L6
- NRSWA Supervisor
- CSCS Managers Card
- Project Management
- Computer literate and an excellent communicator
- Experience in a similar field or role associated with Highway Maintenance, Highway/ Civil Construction, Construction Design and Maintenance ( CDM ) or Civil Engineering Contracting.
The following is preferred but not essential:-
- Continuous work towards relevant professional accreditations
- PMQ
- ASTA Programme Management
