As the Assistant Premises Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional management of our prestigious venues, namely the Winding Wheel Theatre and Hasland Village Hall.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a consistently high standard of venue management, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as licensing requirements.
- Maximise secondary sales income from events held at the venues, including bar, catering, and merchandise, to optimise revenue generation.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including availability on weekends, Bank Holidays, and special events, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the Venues' operations.
- Showcase excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently, taking initiative and exhibiting exceptional conflict resolution abilities.
- Utilize your prior experience in premises management, ideally within a hospitality or entertainment operations environment, to effectively manage day-to-day operations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring that visitors have a positive and memorable experience at our venues.
Requirements:
- Possess a personal license, along with a valid First Aid Certificate, Food Hygiene certificate, and a CIEH Level 1 Award in Health and Safety or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrate mobility between sites to maintain the required level of service and oversight.
- Showcase excellent management skills, allowing you to confidently handle various responsibilities and challenges that may arise.
- Previous experience in a similar role, highlighting your proficiency in premises management and understanding of the hospitality and entertainment industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
