Salary: Leadership Pay Scale Points 3-5 (£49,574 – £52,072 full time/full year per annum)

Queensway Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring leader to join our team. In addition to the daily responsibilities of a busy Assistant Principal, you will manage the following key responsibilities:
- Supporting ECTs on their journey to becoming exceptional practitioners.
- Leading Professional Development across two schools, making teaching and learning the key driver of improvement.
- Creating a culture of exceptional teaching and an environment that nurtures development
- Developing and leading programmes for support staff to ensure every adult is an exceptional educator.
- Being a role model for other staff as a brilliant practitioner, coach and mentor.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience of teaching the relevant phase in a primary school
- Proven success in leading staff development
- The statutory requirements concerning Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEND and Child Protection
Queensway Infant Academy is a two-form entry infant academy in Thetford which caters for around 180 children from Reception to Year 2. Queensway Academy joined the Inspiration Trust family in May 2023. The school has not had an Ofsted Inspection since joining the trust, at the last inspection in April 2022 the inspectors found many strengths within the school, especially in the categories of Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes where Ofsted graded these areas as ‘Good’.
