Key Responsibilities
- To create print designs interpreting appropriate trends and sales strategic information to meet range plan requirements and to design brief and critical path deadline dates.
- To research, help assist and put together trend boards/colour palettes as part of the design team.
- To assist efficiently in the development of product for sampling.
- To assist in the coordination of print development, ensuring that print artworks are issued in line with the critical path deadlines and thus prototype examples are available for final sign-off.
- To create prints and update them as necessary for relevant meetings.
- To fully utilise the CAD system in line with best practice and training.
- To become fully aware of the EWM customer priorities.
- To be a team player and able to work in a busy fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate:
- Keen interest for colour/print
- Good knowledge of competitor & aspirational brands
- Excellent CAD skills including Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- PLM experience preferable
- BA hons Fashion Design/Print/Illustration/Textiles Degree
- Sufficient DAA or Design Assistant experience with examples of design work
