Location: Croydon office location with Hybrid working 

Salary: £47,000 to £51,000 per annum plus Civil Service Pension

We are pleased to announce that our Commercial Services team is expanding, and we are looking for an Assistant Procurement Manager to join the team. 

This position will be responsible for provision of procurement and contract management support to the wider Commercial Services team. It will support the Senior Commercial Manager in the management of our Investment team’s data licence contacts and will be managing the administration of the renewal process; including negotiating terms, maintaining user lists, and setting up of new vendors, ensuring all required due diligence checks are carried out. 

This is a key position that will ensure we are fully prepared for new Procurement Regulations, by helping to update our key templates, policies and guidance documentation; along with supporting the testing of system changes. 

Our ideal applicant will have previous supply chain experience, be that contract management or buying/purchasing, including experience of undertaking requests for quotations (RfQs) from within the private or public sector. Additional experiences we are looking for include ensuring contract records are recorded and maintained accurately, and experience of payment processes; requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices to enable resolution of payment queries. 

If you are currently studying towards/ looking to study towards to becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or World Commerce and Contracting Association (WCC), we will support your study.
