Assistant Product Manager

Reed Scientific is seeking an Assistant Product Manager to bolster our client’s product and marketing team. This role is pivotal in developing new products, enhancing existing ones, and assisting with their product portfolio.

Our client is a well-established  manufacturing company specialising in portable water quality test kits for global export. Their products feature diverse test methods for water quality assessment, catering to parameters like pH, temperature, turbidity, and trace levels of heavy metals

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Analysis: Examine competitors’ products to identify their strengths and weaknesses.
• Consumer Research: Investigate consumer preferences for specific products.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee quality throughout all stages, from concept to production.
• OEM Partnerships: Maintain relationships with OEM partners for prompt feedback and issue resolution.
• Marketing Support: Aid in content creation, including articles, case studies, blogs, and social media content.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical background in science or proven experience gained from within industry. Any analytical and research experienced would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Some experience in quality assurance and product development ( this can be from any industry eg. Pharma, med devices, chemicals & coatings etc…
• Proficiency using basic IT software and social media platforms.
• Strong communication and design skills.
