Reporting to the Group Programme Director, you’ll ensure that our people welcome members with the best possible customer experience.
As an Assistant Programme Director at our Club, you will understand the commercial fitness environment. Previously, you’ve worked as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor and you bring lots of initiative with a good eye for detail.
As a Assistant Programme Director, you will:
Oversee the team responsible for the club’s budget, profit and loss, and recruitment
Oversee and manage the Fitness Manager and Client Services Manger to ensure smooth running of these department
Ensure robust succession plans are in place, and actively manage the development of the on-site team
Motivate staff through regular communications, 1-2-1’s and meetings, feedback and constructive help as required
Understand and implement performance management systems
Support on-site managers in developing and continuously reviewing a strategy for their site and drive/motivate them to achieve their financial and other agreed targets
Responsible for the performance of all direct reports
Cross departmental liaison and stakeholder management within Nuffield Health
HR/Payroll
Maximise opportunities for additional revenues through additional sales and services
Ensure all financial reviews are attended with relevant action from previous meetings met
Manage our corporate client accounts, attending meetings, strengthening relationships and ensuring their needs are met
Be the role model for health and wellbeing, with the knowledge and excellence to promote the full product and services portfolio.
Recruit, develop and manage employed teams to ensure that they have the right capabilities, attitude and enthusiasm to deliver our organisational quality, health improvement and commercial objectives.
Overall responsibility for the schedule, in addition to directing the activities of the team to ensure that they provide our members with a great service and excellent exercise leadership
Manage all departments to ensure all KPI’s are met.
To ensure that all relevant statutory health and safety codes of practice are adhered to and have a full understanding of the Nuffield Health SIMM’s manual and all on-site Health & Safety procedures.
Understand and implement the Normal Operating Procedures at all times and the Emergency Action Plan when necessary
Responsible for management of contracts and ensuring all obligations are met
Be an ambassador for the consistent delivery of brand standards
Support the Wellbeing Strategy and the enhancement of Wellbeing offerings across the group
Management for on-site secondary Wellbeing Service Lines
Supporting PD in all aspects of club performance
Huddle attendance in absence of PD
Client Meeting in absence of PD
HOD attendance in absence of PD
Support business relationship between Nuffield SLT and Client.
Responsible for senior client tours
Responsible for NH Tours
Attendance of social events on client request
Support of client led initiatives
Delivery of key stakeholder & client wellbeing initiatives CRES wellbeing/PCB banking/ Be Well
