Assistant Delivery Manager

  • Salary: Up to GBP23,809 per annum (depending on experience)

The team

You will be part of the Home Energy Scotland Loan Scheme team in the Service Delivery department where we administer loan and grants on behalf of Scottish Government.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to promoting energy efficiency in Scottish domestic properties working within a fast-paced environment.

The role

You will be part of our Edinburgh based Services Delivery team and assist in the managing and delivery of Scottish Government funded projects that aim to help people across Scotland create warmer homes, reduce their energy bills, and lower their carbon footprint.

What you ll do

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects by working closely with the Team Leaders and Deputy Programme Manager, ensuring targets in the Scottish Government work plan are met, and projects are delivered in line with the agreed processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that customer service is maintained at a high level.
  • To assist the Programme Manager and Deputy Programme Manager by effectively managing loans and grant schemes in line with the agreed processes and procedures and contractual timescales agreed with Scottish Government.

What you ll bring

  • You will have excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and demonstratable numerical skills.
  • The ability to work independently and to plan and prioritise multiple competing activities is essential in this fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of operational management.

This is a permanent full-time position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.

We are open to flexible working locations (within the UK) and as standard we offer all contracts on blended (home and office-based) working.
