Shift Pattern: Hybrid office 1-2 times per Week (Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.00pm)
Rate: £20 per hour - Weekly Paid
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager on behalf of a global company in the renewable energy industry. This role is Monday - Friday 09.00am - 17.00pm Hybrid, 1 -2 days in the office, on an initial 12 month contract with potential opportunity to be made permanent.
The successful Assistant Project Manager will join the Renewable Energy Team based at the Lincoln Office. The Assistant Project Manager will help assist the Project Managers within the team with their day to day duties. This is a heavily based admin position, using different systems such as SAP, Oracle and other ERP related tools. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to get into a Project Manager position within Engineering but may not yet have the experience behind them. Smaller projects may be given to gain experience a few months into the position.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager:
Assisting the Project Manager with day to day tasks
Admin tasks using SAP, Oracle, ERP related tools
Support completion of Pre-
Sales Handover Sheet
Purchase orders for 3 rd Party
Resource
Purchase Orders for 3 rd Party suppliers
Draft mobilisation briefing /debriefing documentation
Draft SRC Reports
Coordinate meetings
Minute taking for key meetings
Support chasing of engineering for RFQ and VTC
OnePM structure and housekeeping
Write user friendly guides
Key Skills / Experience Required for the Assistant Project Manager:
Advanced Administrative skills
Experience of SAP, Oracle or ERP related systems would be desirable
Minute taking
Raising purchase orders
Writing user friendly documents
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft packages
A keen interest in Project Management/ Engineering/ Renewable energy
Excellent communication and written skills
Organised and can work on your own initiative
