The Assistant Property Fund Manager will add to and strengthen the team, managing a portfolio of over £300m funds. You will come from a Financial Services/Fund Management/Impact Investment background, so qualifications aren’t essential. You’ll be used to a fast paced environment and motivated to deliver for the team.
Salary and benefits:
Salary - £42,000 - £47,000 DOE, 25 days holiday plus banks, a 9 day fortnight (5 and 4 day week!), flexible working hours around core hours of 9.30-3, hybrid working 2-3 days in the office, pension, C2W, Electric Vehicle scheme. Extended Pat and Mat pay, sick leave, paid sabbatical after 10 years’ service.
Responsibilities include:
- Work alongside the Property Fund Manager and the wider team.
- Monitor fund performance against financial and non-financial objectives.
- Attend investment committee meetings, in lieu of the manager where needed.
- Support investors throughout the process.
- Assist with quarterly investor reports
- Work with external stakeholders to deliver the bi-annual valuation
- Monitor housing partner performance and report to the property team.
- Develop relationships with housing partners.
- Measure fund deployment vs. target.
- Analyse property data and manage handovers, escalating any issues
- Support the delivery of fund ESG and impact strategies
- Experience in financial services/fund management/impact investment is essential
