Assistant Quantity Surveyor

An award-winning, medium sized Construction & Property Consultancy in Edinburgh is looking to add an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their growing team.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will join a dynamic team of professionals in a diverse role working across an array of sectors including Healthcare, Education, Residential, Retail, and Hotel.

As a multidisciplinary consultancy, the new Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have the option to diversify into Project Management and Employer's Agent work if desired and will be working on exciting projects from £1m - £25m.

The company have a fantastic internal APC programme with an impressive pass rate and track record and can offer great long term career development & progression with tailored plans suited to each individual.

This could be the perfect opportunity for a driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for an interesting and varied role with exciting project diversity, industry exposure and strong APC support via 1-2-1 mentorship, mock exams, study days, councillors, seminars and lectures.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The new Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be eager to be a part of a dynamic, fast paced team of professionals, be client facing, professional and eager for progression long term within a business. You will also have:

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK Construction Consultancy (1 year+ ideally)
• A BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying ideally or other Construction related degree
• Eager to work towards MRICS
• Basic pre and post contract experience
• A valid UK driving license is beneficial
