Position Summary:
We are seeking a recently qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in our growing business . This role is integral to the success of our projects, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities from project estimating and scheduling to payment applications and project management. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the construction industry, coupled with exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of project estimates and cost plans.
- Contribute to project scheduling and planning to ensure timely completion.
- Handle payment applications, including valuations and final accounts.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress and costs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide support in contract administration and procurement.
- Work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate risks.
- Participate in meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Recently qualified, with a keen interest in the construction industry, especially in the restoration and preservation of listed buildings.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and market trends.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and quantity surveying software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
