Recently listed in the Michelin Guide, our client based in Harpenden is looking for a Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their team!
Our client’s aim is to create a special experience for customers that pulls on the traditions of a classic British Public House whilst putting a contemporary twist on quality seasonal food and drink. In the last 18 months they have made a huge investment in refurbishments, staff, suppliers and equipment.
What you'll be doing:
· Hire and retain front of house staff
· Build team rotas and manage daily service
· Lead by example and develop the whole front of house team
· Maintain stock levels and process all new weekly orders
· Manage budgets and monitor gross profits to improve restaurant profitability
· Ensure all company rules and protocols are followed
· Proactively seek out improves and create solutions to better the customer experience
What they are looking for:
· Experience working in or managing restaurants with a Michelin Star or 3 Rosette environment
· Strong managerial skills and track record of building high performing teams
· Ambition and drive to be the best they can within their role and the industry
· A passion and in depth knowledge of wine
