Assistant Restaurant Manager

Are you an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor or Assistant Manager looking for a brand-new exciting opportunity? My client is a luxury beautiful independent hotel, set within gorgeous grounds, that offers elegance to all its clientele. They are looking for a talented individual to join as their Assistant Restaurant Manager and collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to assist in the full running of their rosette standard restaurant.
Due to the location of the hotel, the successful candidate will need to have access to their own transportation.
The main duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Restaurant Manager will be:

• Liaising with the Restaurant Manager and deputising in their place to ensure an efficient and welcoming service.
• Guiding, training and developing the F&B team, helping each individual grow both personally and professionally.
• Setting up the restaurant consistently to the correct standard.
• Running small functions (Weddings, events) smoothly, providing a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints in a swift manner.

The ideal Assistant Restaurant Manager will:

• Be an experience F&B operative, having worked in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Experience in fine dining.
• A can-do mindset, determination and organisational skills
• Friendly, personable and great communication skills.
• Good understanding of all Health and Safety regulations

Job-Type: Fulltime, Permanent
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5/7 days a week
