Responsibilities: As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the successful execution of social housing refurbishment projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the coordination and supervision of on-site activities to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
- Collaborating with the Site Manager to manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers effectively.
- Monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards on-site.
- Assisting in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Conducting regular site inspections and providing progress reports.
- Supporting the resolution of any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in a construction-related role, with exposure to social housing refurbishment preferred.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction methodologies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- CSCS certification.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices on construction sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
