Assistant Site Manager

Responsibilities: As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the successful execution of social housing refurbishment projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the coordination and supervision of on-site activities to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Collaborating with the Site Manager to manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers effectively.
• Monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards on-site.
• Assisting in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Conducting regular site inspections and providing progress reports.
• Supporting the resolution of any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualification in Construction Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in a construction-related role, with exposure to social housing refurbishment preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction methodologies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• CSCS certification.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices on construction sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
