With a strong presence in the UK market are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join their dynamic team supporting the delivery of a drylining project in Watford.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager overseeing the drylining and associated trades on the residential project in Watford.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and on-site personnel.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling project costs and schedules.
• Manage and maintain documentation and paperwork related to the project, including but not limited to progress reports, permits, and material orders.
• Assist in conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager to address any issues or concerns that may arise during the project.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a focus on drylining and associated trades.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to handle paperwork efficiently and accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of subcontractors and on-site personnel.
• A proactive and aspirational attitude, with a desire to further develop a career in site management within the construction industry.
• Relevant construction qualifications or certifications would be an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
