Assistant Site Manager Wanted!

Thatcher Associates have been appointed to secure an Assistant Site Manager in the Somerset region. This individual will be joining a regional developer and will work within a well-structured and friendly team. For this particular residential project you will need to have had exposure ideally within new build housing housing but we would consider other Assistant Site Mangers with other construction experience.

A reputable regional housing developer who are looking for a manager to work with the Somerset based construction team. They develop high quality hoses and take pride in progressing their own staff members, they are a close-knit team who work together well and offer a supportive dynamic working environment. They are keen to develop their staff within and offer both career progression and training if desired.
About the role:
As the Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with an experienced and well respected Project Manager. You will have access to excellent on-site training, and off site training courses, you will be taken through appropriate procedures which will allow you to run your own sites in time with the company.
About you:
- At least 1-5 years' industry experience
- We would also consider construction graduates or Trades professionals with supervisor experience
- Previous experience working on residential developments is desirable
- Degree or trades background we need a qualification equivalent of at a NVQ Level or similar
- CSCS Card
- Good communicator
Skills:
- Good organisational skills;
- Client facing skills;
- You will be able to work as part of a team and individually showing initiative as required by the scheme you are working on;
- Commercial awareness and an ability to establish and maintain good working relationships;
- Strong computer skills;
- Have relevant industry qualifications and management certificates
