Assistant Site Manager

A successful family-owned building company that specialises in insurance repairs is looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join its established team due to new long-term contracts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy office in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the supervision of multiple insurance claims, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to policyholders' satisfaction. As Assistant Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the management of multiple insurance claims from start to completion
• Managing in-house tradesmen and subcontractors
• Programming, sequencing, and sourcing materials to effect successful repairs
• Controlling labour, subcontractors, and material costs
• Conducting site visits for meetings with policyholders and tradesmen
• Office based planning and communications.

We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager who has the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role with a strong background in building trades.
• Experience of insurance re-instatement would be a great advantage, however not essential and they provide an onboarding process and suitable training.
• Excellent communication skills within the team environment
• Experience in a similar customer facing role within the building trade is advantageous
• Experience running a team of trades people would be an advantage.
• H&S knowledge

The role would be a perfect opportunity for a tradesperson to move from on the tools to in the office environment. In return, you will receive a company van, and a salary of up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience (hourly paid based on 45-hour standard week 07:00-17:00, Monday-Thursday, and 07:00-14:30 Friday) hours negotiable.
