Assistant Supervisor

Salary - 29,705.00 plus veolia benefits

Hours: 48 hours per week - Monday to Friday
6am - 4pm & 2pm - 12am
Location: Mansfield material Recovery Facility, NG19 0FL

What will you be doing?

• Maintaining efficient and effective operations of the facility / mobile plant
  
• Oversee the production team, assigning work and monitoring safety procedures
  
• Ensure materials are processed to achieve maximum throughput at all times.
  
• Control all loading activities and tipping hall activities for incoming loads in conjunction with the weighbridge operations
  
• Control the acceptance, storing, and loading of plant materials to ensure compliance with the site permit
  
• Report and respond to plant emergencies, as required
  
• Audit the plant and employees for quality, quantity, housekeeping, safety conformance, PPE etc
  

What are we looking for?

• Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques gained in a fast paced production environment
  
• Previous experience of managing a large operational team
  
• Good health & safety knowledge
